Privacy Policy

Who we are

This website is operated by American Investment Immigration Company (\"AIIC\", \"we\", \"us\"), 205 Worth Avenue, Suite 201, Palm Beach, Florida 33480, United States. For questions about this policy or about how we handle your information, contact us at info@aiiceb5.com or +1 (267) 629-9727. For the purposes of the UK and EU General Data Protection Regulation, AIIC is the controller of the personal data described below.

What we collect

Information you give us. When you complete an enquiry form, register for a webinar, or contact us by email, telephone or messaging application, we collect the information you provide: typically your name, email address, telephone number, country of residence, preferred language, and whatever you choose to tell us about your circumstances and objectives.\n\nInformation collected automatically. When you visit this site we and our service providers may collect your IP address, approximate location derived from it, device and browser type, the pages you view, the language you view them in, and the site or search that referred you. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies, described below.

Information from third parties. If a migration agent, immigration attorney, financial adviser or existing investor refers you to us, we may receive your contact details and a description of your enquiry from them. We rely on them to have a lawful basis for sharing it.\n\nWe do not ask for, and you should not send us through this website, government identification numbers, passport copies, bank statements, tax returns or source-of-funds documentation. Those are collected only later, through a secure channel, if you proceed to subscribe to an offering.

Why we use it, and our legal basis

We use your information to respond to your enquiry; to send you information about EB-5 and about offerings we sponsor; to register you for webinars and send you the recording; to assess whether an offering may be suitable for you; to comply with our legal, anti-money-laundering and securities obligations; and to operate and improve this website. Where the UK or EU GDPR applies, our legal bases are: your consent, where you have asked to hear from us; the steps necessary before entering a contract, where you are considering an investment; our legitimate interests in operating and marketing our business, balanced against your rights; and compliance with a legal obligation.

Who we share it with

We share personal data with service providers who act for us, including our website host, email and customer-relationship platforms, webinar platform, and analytics providers; with the fund administrators, escrow agents, securities counsel, immigration counsel and economists engaged on a particular offering, where relevant to your enquiry; with regulators, law enforcement or courts where we are legally required to; and with a buyer or successor if our business is transferred. We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it with anyone for cross-context behavioural advertising.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry records for 24 months from your last contact with us, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Where you become an investor, we keep records for as long as required by United States securities, anti-money-laundering and tax law, and by our regulatory record-keeping obligations, which may be substantially longer.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you; to have it corrected; to have it deleted; to restrict or object to how we use it; to receive it in a portable format; and to withdraw consent at any time. If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority. If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act gives you the right to know what personal information we collect, use and disclose; to request deletion; to request correction; and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA. If you are in India, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act gives you rights of access, correction, erasure and grievance redressal. To exercise any of these rights, email info@aiiceb5.com. We will verify your identity before we act, and we will respond within the period the applicable law requires.

Cookies

We use cookies that are necessary for the site to work, and analytics cookies that help us understand which pages are read and in which languages. Where the law of your country requires it, including in the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area, we ask for your consent before setting any cookie that is not strictly necessary. You can also refuse or delete cookies through your browser settings; the site will still function, though some parts may be less convenient.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

A warning about wire fraud

We will never send you new or changed wire instructions by email. If you receive wire instructions that appear to come from us, telephone the number on this page and confirm them verbally with a person you know before sending any funds. Fraudsters target investment transactions of this size.

Children

This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. Information about an investor's dependent children is collected only later in the process, from the investor, through a secure channel.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. If we make a material change we will say so on this page.
